Dany speaks Portuguese, Spanish, and English fluently, and teaches herself German in her free time. She was born and raised in Brazil, where she worked as a software engineer. She is now working remotely in Portugal. Her favorite hobby is surfing! 🏄🏾

Cara speaks English and some Chinese. She was raised in NYC, where she studied Applied Math and Computer Science at Columbia University. She spent a summer in China teaching English and got excited while introducing her students to American culture and values. Now, Cara is passionate about teaching English! She's currently learning web development and likes to play pickleball in her free time!🏓

Lorena is fluent in Spanish, English, and French. She was born and raised in Venezuela before moving to NYC, where she now works as a UI/UX designer. Lorena loves to cook arepas in the morning. Her favorite hobby is painting. 🎨

Pauline is fluent in French, English, and Spanish. She was born and raised in France, where she got a dual Business Law degree and a master’s in International Development at Sciences Po. After, she moved to Cameroon to discover her roots as a biracial princess. Now, Pauline works as a deputy director for a French logistics company, but her passion is creating content about African politics. She can talk for hours about Michelle Obama and Trevor Noah. Her favorite hobby is networking! 🤝

Mona is fluent in Arabic, French, and English. She was born in Morocco and raised in France, where she got a master's in Management from Emlyon business school. Mona relocated to NYC to pursue a career in digital content marketing & journalism. Her favorite hobby is singing. 🎤

Ziyuan speaks Chinese, Spanish, English, and some Dutch. She was born and raised in Beijing China, then moved to Madrid to study Fine Arts. Her favorite hobby is soccer. ⚽

William speaks English, Spanish, and some Italian. He was born in Harlem and now lives in Manhattan on the Upper East Side. William is a product manager. His favorite hobby is trying new restaurants– he's a foodie! 🍲

Josh speaks Hindi, English, and some French. He was born in India, then moved to Texas to study Math and Computer Science at UT Austin. Today, Josh lives in NYC where he works as a software engineer at Bloomberg. His favorite hobby is watching baseball. ⚾

NYC-based Mark grew up in a household that speaks English, Tagalog (Filipino), and Ilokano, a language widely spoken in Northern Philippines and Hawaii. Through school and self-teaching, he is conversational in French, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish and Portuguese– he wants to learn Arabic. Mark has an MPA in International Economics from NYU and works at a museum. His favorite hobby is being an artist and teacher of traditional Filipino calligraphy. He loves a good glass of whiskey. 🥃

Jazzy speaks Chinese, English, and some French. She was born and raised in China where she studied International Economics, then moved to Long Island to pursue a master's in Finance. Today, Jazzy lives in Williamsburg and runs her own standardized testing education business. She is empathetic and loves to spend time with her dog, Brooklyn, who went viral. 🐶

Kate speaks Russian, French, English, and some Chinese. She was born and raised in Russia, then moved to France to teach English. Today, Kate lives in Beijing, China.

Juliette is fluent in both French and English, and she is currently learning Spanish. Although she was born in the US, she has spent most of her life in the south of France and Paris. She now resides in New York, where she works as a French teacher and a tour guide. In her leisure time, she enjoys activities such as climbing, cooking, reading, and exploring new languages!
